|MILLVILLE, NJ – Salmon Ventures Limited (SVL) is pleased to announce Phil Sgro as Director of Legislative Affairs and Communications.Sgro assumes his new role as he closes in on the one year mark in being with the firm. Before his time with SVL, Phil worked on the re-election campaign for U.S. Senator Kay Hagan. Phil spent his time with the campaign working in research. Phil has also worked for the North Carolina General Assembly, providing legislative assistance to State Senator Donald Vaughan of Guilford County.
“Phil has been an excellent addition to SVL, and has continued to excel in his time with the firm,” said Dr. Edward H. Salmon, Chairman of Salmon Ventures Limited. “Phil has a strong personality and skill set that has proven to be effective and efficient in communicating with clients and government officials,” continued Salmon.
Sgro is a 2013 graduate of East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. During his time at East Carolina, he served as Vice President of Programs for the Delta Alpha chapter of Sigma Tau Gamma. Sgro is a native of the Philadelphia area, having grown up in Jenkintown, a small suburb of the city. He currently resides in South Jersey.
