Lewis Consulting, LLC provides technical assistance and management reviews for municipal and county governments. Upon retirement from the State of New Jersey, Dale Finch established Lewis Consulting with the primary goal of providing technical review, evaluation and management oversight of government operations and services particularly in the Public Works areas.

Dale Finch

Dale Finch has over thirty years management experience in all areas of government operations. Prior to the formation of Lewis Consulting, Mr. Finch worked as a a Public Works Auditor for the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs - Division of Local Government Services. In this capacity, Mr. Finch's primary function was to review, evaluate, and recommend improvements for the internal procedures and daily operations of public works or related services in distressed New Jersey municipalities. 

Before joining the Department of Community Affairs, Mr. Finch worked for the State Treasury Department as a Local Government Budget Review Auditor. In his tenure at the Department, he participated in the performance and management reviews of 16 government entities, including municipalities, school districts, utility authorities and fire districts. These reviews covered all aspects of the agency's operations, including tables of organization and individual division functions, in order to provide recommendations for efficiency enhancements, cost savings, and improvements to the delivery of public services. 

Mr. Finch also served as Director of Public Works for the City of Millville, NJ for 12 years. As Director, he reorganized the Public Works Department to better meet the needs of the City, establishing department divisions and developing a long term plan for City services. Mr. Finch has served on a local Board of Education and continues to serve on a local Housing Authority.
